Yahritza y Su Esencia Joins Double P Management
Yahritza y Su Esencia has joined Double P Management, the company led by music executive George Prajin and the singer Peso Pluma, Billboard reported on Oct. 28, 2026.
The move is a co-management deal. Adriana Martinez, who has managed the group for a long time, will stay on and work alongside Prajin and his team. Co-management means two teams share the work of guiding a career, from bookings and planning to deals with labels and promoters.
The group was formed in Yakima, Washington, by the siblings Yahritza, Armando and Jairo Martínez. Its profile rose in 2022, when its five-track EP Obsessed reached No. 1 on Billboard's Regional Mexican Albums chart. That chart ranks the genre's albums, and the genre draws on traditional Mexican folk styles. The lead single from that EP, "Soy El Único," opened at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart, which ranks Latin tracks by streams, sales and radio airplay.
The group has also charted on the Billboard Global 200, which ranks songs worldwide each week.
Double P's roster, the list of artists a management company represents, includes Peso Pluma, Tito Double P, Santa Fe Klan, Deorro and Paloma Mami. Adding a group with a chart history of its own gives the company another act across Latin and dance-oriented music.
In September 2026, the group performed a tribute to the singer Juan Gabriel at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, according to a post from Double P Management on Instagram.
Double P has not announced new releases, tour dates or label terms alongside the news. Any of those would be credited to the company, the group or the label that confirms them.
