London-based talent agency Independent Creative Management (ICM) has signed actor Serhat Metin, according to a Deadline report published on 28 October 2026. Signing means the agency will represent him when producers and casting directors look for performers. It can mean more auditions and more offers.

Metin is a Turkish-Cypriot actor based in London. Most viewers will know him from Netflix's Havoc, where he played detective Cortez. The police action thriller stars Tom Hardy, Timothy Olyphant, Forest Whitaker and Jessie Mei Li. Police action is a genre built around cops chasing criminals, often through fast, physical set pieces.

He has also worked on British television. He appeared in Gangs of London, the crime drama made for Sky by director Gareth Evans. Sky is a UK broadcaster, and its series are often watched on demand as well as on live channels.

His route into acting was unusual. According to the Deadline report, Metin started his career in 2011 after moving away from amateur boxing. Physical training of that kind often feeds into action work, where performers need to look convincing while staying safe on set.

That side of his work has its own representation. His Instagram account says Take3 Agency represents him for stunts. Stunt representation is a separate arrangement. It covers physically demanding scenes that are often performed by trained specialists, and it is handled by agencies that specialise in that kind of work.

ICM is part of Independent Creative Group. The Deadline report names its chief executive as Katerina Michael. A chief executive is the most senior person running a company, and in talent agencies the job usually involves deciding which clients to take on and how to build their careers.

Behind every signing sits a long chain of work. An actor needs a manager or agent to hear about roles, push for auditions and negotiate pay. For a performer whose recent credits are in large streaming dramas and long-running British series, that support can shape which projects come next.

The announcement does not change what viewers can watch. Havoc and Gangs of London remain available on the platforms that carry them. What changes is who speaks for Metin when the next role comes up.
