Distiller Records and Speedy Wunderground have announced a label partnership, and the first release under it is a single by Heartworms. The deal was announced on 28 October 2026, according to Billboard. It began the day before, with the release of "Guess I'm Stuck in the Dark" on 27 October.

Heartworms is the stage name of London-based musician Josephine Orme. Her 2025 debut album, Glutton for Punishment, came out through Speedy Wunderground and charted at No. 9 on the UK Independent Albums Chart, which ranks albums released outside the three major record companies.

Speedy Wunderground is a London label founded by producer Dan Carey. Under the new arrangement, it keeps full creative control over its A&R, the work of finding and developing artists, along with its production. Distiller Records, led by managing director James Moodie, provides marketing, distribution and what the partnership calls operational scale. Distribution means getting music into shops and onto streaming services, and operational scale refers to the larger back-office machinery that a bigger company can offer.

Distiller has a chart record of its own to point to. It scored its first UK No. 1 album with Blossoms' sixth studio album, Songs From the Wedding Cake.

Fans who want to hear more have several ways in. According to the Speedy Wunderground website, Glutton for Punishment is available on black vinyl, on a limited-edition black-and-white vinyl, on CD and digitally. The same site features a video for Heartworms' song "Warplane".

Heartworms also has a run of live dates ahead. She is the lead support act on Interpol and Bloc Party's co-headline tour of the UK and Europe, which starts on 20 November in Birmingham.

Heartworms signed to Speedy Wunderground in 2022, and she has said the label was a formative influence on her work, Clash reported at the time. The new partnership adds a larger marketing and distribution team to a label that already has an artist with a chart-placing debut behind her.

For a listener, the practical news is simple. A new Heartworms single is out, a tour is coming in November, and the record can be bought on vinyl, CD or download.
