Brandy Among Honorees at 2026 Ebony Power 100 Gala

Singer Brandy is one of the special honorees at the 2026 EBONY Power 100 Gala, according to Billboard. The gala takes place on Nov. 9 at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

The Power 100 is EBONY magazine's annual list of influential figures, and the gala is the evening when the magazine celebrates them. This year's theme is "The Stories We Shape." The event is produced in partnership with Jesse Collins Entertainment, a company that organises live shows and television events.

Billboard also named Lena Waithe and Byron Allen among the special honorees. Flau'jae Johnson, Keith Lee and Victor Glover make up the 2026 Court, a group of honorees named alongside the special honorees. Jay-Z and Megan Thee Stallion were announced as honorees in the Power 100 Music Innovators class, and T.I. is also a member of that class.

The live entertainment has a clear shape. Kirk Franklin opens the show, and T.I. closes it.

The list has been building since early October. On Oct. 5, Variety reported that Keke Palmer, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Debbie Allen, the New York Knicks and Jay-Z were among the honorees. The same day, EBONY named Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges, according to a press release issued that day.

On Oct. 8, Complex reported that Naomi Osaka, Alicia Keys, Common and Victor Wembanyama were also named honorees.
