Brandy to headline House of R&B in Lagos on 20 December

Brandy will headline Flytime's House of R&B concert in Lagos on 20 December at the Eko Convention Centre.
The booking was reported by Billboard on 9 October. House of R&B is a dedicated rhythm-and-blues night within Flytime's wider December programme in Nigeria's largest city.
The Lagos date follows three shows in South Africa. Brandy is scheduled to perform in Cape Town on 14 December, then in Pretoria on 17 and 18 December, before travelling to Nigeria.
House of R&B opens a run of five consecutive Flytime events. Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged, a long-running concert featuring Nigerian and international acts, is scheduled for 21 December. Flytime Fest Powered by Coca-Cola follows on 22 to 24 December, with Flytime Circle set for 25 December.
Flytime is led by founder and chief executive officer Cecil Hammond. The company started in 2017 and says more than 300 African artists have performed on its stages, according to its official site.
Previous editions have paired local stars with visitors from the United States. In December 2024, Gunna and Tyla were billed for debut performances in Nigeria at Flytime Fest, as reported by Ebony at the time.
For fans, this means a full week of options. House of R&B is the slow-jam night. Rhythm Unplugged and the three-day Flytime Fest widen the line-up, while the Christmas Day Circle closes the season.
