DIIV has announced a 47-date world tour for 2027, Pitchfork reported, starting in Sydney in February and ending in London in June. The shows support ZIRP!, the band's new album, which is due out on October 30.

The record was produced by A.G. Cook, a producer who shapes how an album sounds in the studio. It is released on Fantasy Recordings, a record label that puts out and promotes music. ZIRP! follows DIIV's 2024 album, Frog in Boiling Water.

The tour opens in Australia and New Zealand. The first date is the Laneway Festival in Sydney on February 12, 2027. Laneway dates follow in Brisbane on February 13, Melbourne on February 19 and Auckland on February 21.

From there the band goes to Tokyo, where it plays Kanda Square Hall on February 24 and February 25.

The North American leg begins on April 7 in Minneapolis. It then stops in Chicago on April 9, New York on April 16 and Los Angeles on April 30.

The tour finishes on June 30 at the Troxy, a venue in east London, England.

The band has already been playing new songs. In September, DIIV performed at Balaclava Fest in São Paulo, Brazil, where it debuted tracks from ZIRP! during its set. Stereogum reported that the same show included a cover of a Charli XCX song.

For fans, the route is the clearest part of the announcement. The dates run from Australasia to Japan, then North America, and end in Europe. Anyone planning to see the band will want to check each city's ticketing details with the venue or promoter. The album arrives on October 30, and the tour starts about three months later.
