Weezer Announce 2026–2027 'The Gathering' World Tour, Drop Star-Studded 'C.E.O.' Video

Weezer announced a 2026–2027 international tour on the morning of Aug. 5, routing through North America, Japan and Europe in support of their forthcoming album Weezer: The Gathering, due Aug. 21 on Reprise/Warner Records (Billboard).
The tour opens Sept. 8 at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. The North American leg — 32 shows promoted by Live Nation, with The Shins and Silversun Pickups splitting support duties — wraps Oct. 24 at a sold-out Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles (Billboard; Climate Pledge Arena).
From there the band moves to Japan in February, then on to Ireland, the U.K., France, Amsterdam, Norway and Sweden, closing June 1 at Veiskaus in Helsinki, Finland. Taking Back Sunday open the overseas dates (Billboard).
Weezer: The Gathering is the band's seventh self-titled LP — fans know it as the "Gold Album" — and their 12th studio release overall. Two singles have already dropped: "Shine Again" and "We Might as Well Be Strangers," the latter featuring Wednesday and directed by Jasper Graham (Billboard; YouTube).
Alongside the tour announcement, the band released a music video for the track "C.E.O.," directed by Brendan Walter and Jasper Graham. The cast is packed: comedians Rob Riggle and Rob Huebel play a pair of dopey suits, with appearances from actors Michael Peña, Giovanni Ribisi and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, skateboarding legend Tony Hawk, Jay Renshaw (Chit from The Chit Show), and Curry Barker (Billboard; NME). The video is streaming on Weezer's official YouTube channel (YouTube).
Ticketing runs across several tiers depending on region. Weezer Fan Club members get first crack on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 4 a.m. ET. In the U.K., fans who pre-order the album from the Weezer webstore before 3 p.m. BST on Monday, Aug. 10 gain access to an Aug. 11 presale starting at 10 a.m. BST. European fans can sign up to the band's mailing list for a presale code sent Aug. 10 around 10 p.m. CEST, with that presale opening Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. local time. A general on-sale for U.K. and EU shows begins Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. BST; Japan follows on Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. local time (Billboard).
For Dublin's 3Arena show on the 2027 European leg, ticket prices are listed at €78.75 and €83.75 (Nialler9). Full dates and ticket links are on the band's website at weezer.com (Weezer.com).
The run gives the band nearly ten months on the road across three continents, with a new album landing just two weeks before opening night.
