Dundee United drew 2-2 with Celtic at Celtic Park on Wednesday evening, a result that stretched their unbeaten run to six games.

Celamon Celtic replied with two goals. Camilo Duran scored for the home side, and Liam Scales headed home the equaliser in the 65th minute. Dundee United had earlier scored through Sapsford in the 28th minute and Farrugia in the 31st, so Celtic had to work to bring the scores level.

The point kept Celtic four points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, Scotland's top division. Celtic are the defending champions, and this was a draw they will have wanted to win to pull further ahead.

The Dundee United midfield attracted plenty of attention afterwards. BBC chief sports writer Tom English asked on BBC Radio Scotland's Sportsound whether they have the best midfield three in Scotland right now. A midfield three is the trio of central players who link the defence to the attack, and the names in question are Zidane Iqbal, Lyall Cameron and Dylan Tait.

Iqbal is an Iraq international and a former Manchester United youth player, whom Dundee United signed from Dutch club Utrecht. Cameron is on loan from Rangers. Jim Goodwin remains the manager who has built a side that is now hard to beat.

For Dundee United, the draw is a useful point away to the champions and another sign of a side that is hard to beat right now.
