Sarah Ferguson Seen at Memorial Service with Daughters, First Public Sighting Since April

Sarah Ferguson was pictured joining her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, at a memorial service for Paddy McNally on Thursday. The service was held at St Paul's Church in Knightsbridge, the London district near the Harrods department store.
Hello! magazine reported that Ferguson was also accompanied by Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Jack Brooksbank and Peter Phillips.
The Knightsbridge appearance was the first time Ferguson had been seen in public since April. On 16 April, she was photographed at a resort near the Mayrlife Medical Health Resort in Altaussee, Austria. That sighting was also her first in seven months, according to Page Six, which linked her absence to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Hello! has put the cost of the Austrian resort at £2,000 a night. Separately, PEOPLE reported in April that she had stayed at the same Alpine chalet during the months she was largely out of view. Fox News gave a higher figure of $2,700 a night for the same chalet.
Ferguson's public role has changed sharply in the past year. Her royal titles were removed last October, amid scrutiny over her friendship with the American financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of sex offences and died in prison in 2019. A title is a formal name or rank, such as Duchess, that a monarch can grant or withdraw. Hello! also reported that Ferguson moved out of Royal Lodge in Windsor this October. She had lived there with her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
Hello! reported in July that Ferguson had been moving between the homes of friends in the months before the April sighting. The magazine described a fractured relationship between her and Andrew, 30 years after their divorce.
The pair were last seen together in public at a funeral in September 2025. PEOPLE and E! News both reported that the appearance, at the funeral of Katharine, Duchess of Kent, was a rare joint outing for the former couple.
Ferguson has not, in the reports cited here, made a public statement about her whereabouts or her plans. The Knightsbridge pictures are the latest record of where she has been seen.
