French painter Jean-Pierre Cassigneul returns to the US with 'Timeless Elegance'

Findlay Galleries, a dealer with spaces in Palm Beach, Florida and New York, is showing the paintings of French artist Jean-Pierre Cassigneul in an exhibition called "Timeless Elegance." The gallery describes it as Cassigneul's first solo exhibition in the United States in 40 years, a solo show being one devoted to a single artist.
The Palm Beach show, at the gallery's Worth Avenue location, was reported in February by the Palm Beach Daily News. The paper said it included 35 works and was scheduled to stay on display until April 1.
The gallery then published a New York catalogue on April 22, 2026, titled "Cassigneul – Timeless Elegance | New York Catalogue." A catalogue is a printed or online booklet that lists and illustrates the works on show, so visitors can see what is on the walls and take it home afterwards. The Findlay Galleries exhibition page lists the New York presentation under the same title.
On May 2, Findlay posted a video on its Facebook page announcing that "Timeless Elegance" was now on view at the gallery.
Cassigneul is a French painter. For most visitors to a Florida or New York gallery, a show of this kind is a first chance to see his work in person, and the catalogue is a way to keep a record of it.
The exhibition is the latest chapter in a long relationship between Findlay and European painters, and the 40-year gap is the central point of the story. For readers in other countries, the practical lesson is simple: if you are near either gallery, the paintings are on show now, and the catalogue shows what is included.
