Stand Atlantic Take First ARIA No. 1 With GODBREATH

Sydney pop-punk band Stand Atlantic have reached No. 1 on Australia's ARIA Albums Chart for the first time, with their fifth studio album, GODBREATH.
The chart was published on Friday, 30 October 2026, and ranks the album at No. 1 on the ARIA Top 50 Albums chart for the week of 2 November. ARIA, the Australian Recording Industry Association, compiles the chart, which ranks albums by weekly sales and streaming activity. GODBREATH was also the best-selling vinyl album in Australia that week. The album was released through Virgin Music Group, a record label, which is the company that puts out and promotes an artist's music.
It is the fourth homegrown album to top the ARIA Albums Chart in 2026. Karnivool, DMA's and Angus & Julia Stone have each held the top spot earlier this year.
The band has been climbing for a while. Their 2020 album Pink Elephant reached No. 23 on the chart, and F.E.A.R. reached No. 10 in 2022. Was Here peaked at No. 3 in 2024. GODBREATH is Stand Atlantic's fourth album to land in the top 30. Bonnie Fraser sings and plays guitar in the band.
Other albums also moved up the chart that week. Dan Sultan's Little Miracles debuted at No. 5, and Boo Seeka's Cigarettes On Sundown debuted at No. 10.
On the ARIA Singles Chart, which ranks individual songs, Tate McRae's 'Housewife' spent a second straight week at No. 1. Jamie Miller's 'Babydoll' climbed from No. 27 to No. 9, giving him his first top 10 single.
Stand Atlantic have plans to take their new album on the road. Rolling Stone Australia reported in August that the band would play 'The Godbreath Tour' in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
For a band that has spent several years working its way up the chart, a first No. 1 is a clear step. Each of those earlier albums left a mark, and this one has put the band at the top of the national list.
