Stoic has launched world sales on Paradise Disturbed, a serial-killer thriller starring Holt McCallany, and will show the finished film to buyers ahead of the American Film Market. Deadline reported the launch as an exclusive on 30 October 2026, and published a first-look image from the film the same day.

World sales is the work of selling a film to distributors in cinemas and on streaming services across many countries at once. The American Film Market, known as the AFM, is a film market where those buyers and sellers meet to strike deals. Showing buyers the completed film is the usual way a sales company puts a title in front of the people who might license it.

The story follows Ron Lee, a retired investigator. Ritualistic murders begin to target him, and the film becomes a cat-and-mouse game between Lee and the killer. Holt McCallany plays Lee. Zak Steiner, Lily Donoghue and Xander Berkeley also appear in the cast.

The film is based on a novel by James Robert Fuller. James Khanlarian directs. Khanlarian also produces alongside April Aguilera, and Peter A. Couture II is credited as writer-producer. Larry Mortorff, Barry Krost and Jonathan Clay Harris are executive producers.

Khanlarian Entertainment and Sweet Kop Films worked together on the production. That partnership is typical of independent films, where a small group of production companies and producers pool money, rights and creative work before a sales company takes over the search for buyers.

Nothing in the announcement sets a release date or names a distributor for any territory. Those decisions usually follow the sales process, and buyers at the AFM will be the first to make offers on the completed picture.
