Vertical Entertainment Acquires North American Rights to Theo Rossi–Ron Perlman Thriller 'Come With Me'
Vertical Entertainment has acquired North American distribution rights to Come With Me, a psychological crime thriller starring Theo Rossi and Ron Perlman, and set the film for a select-theatrical release on 4 September 2026. The Hollywood Reporter, which broke the news and exclusively premiered the first trailer, confirmed the deal on 14 August 2026. North American rights cover the United States and Canada.
The film marks the fourth feature from director Aaron Harvey, who co-wrote the screenplay with Jonathan Croom. It centres on Simon Ward, played by Rossi, a working-class man whose life comes apart after a traumatic home invasion, mounting problems at work, and the death of his best friend. Perlman co-stars as Dalton Kirby, a sharp radio host drawn into Simon's orbit. The ensemble also includes Kate French, Chris Mullinax, Ronnie Gene Blevins, Jay Huguley, Marion Kerr, Michael Sirow, and Barron Boedecker (The Hollywood Reporter).
John Moss, CEO and owner of Firebook Entertainment, brokered the North American sale. Firebook, based in Tulsa, handles worldwide sales on the film and focuses on psychologically charged, high-tension thrillers. The film was produced by Demetrius Stear of A Mind's Eye, Colin Bates of Dream Syndicate, and Harvey under his Michael Bruce Pictures banner. Prior to the distribution deal, Come With Me was featured at the 26th annual Beverly Hills International Film Festival in March 2026.
The 4 September date plants the film squarely in the early-fall corridor, when adult-skewing thrillers typically find room between the summer blockbusters and the awards-season rush. A select-theatrical run signals a platform strategy — opening in a handful of markets before potentially widening — rather than a wide break across thousands of screens.
For Rossi, the release adds to a busy stretch. His crime-drama biopic Bruton, directed by Vincent Grashaw, world-premiered at the 79th Locarno Film Festival. He also stars opposite Adam Scott in Kevin Hamedani's The Saviors, scheduled to reach theatres on 26 March 2027. Rossi is best known to audiences from his turns in Sons of Anarchy and Luke Cage.
Perlman, whose career spans from Hellboy to Sons of Anarchy and dozens of character roles in between, brings a familiar face to the supporting cast. His Dalton Kirby sits at the narrative's edge — a radio voice threading through Simon's unraveling, though the full shape of the role remains under wraps in the marketing so far.
