The Hollywood Reporter's Off Script Wins First Daytime Emmy
Off Script, a series from The Hollywood Reporter, has won its first Daytime Emmy Award. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, which runs the awards, lists the show as the winner of Outstanding Arts and Popular Culture Program at the 53rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.
The win came after three straight nominations in the same category. The Hollywood Reporter says it was nominated in 2024 and 2025 as well, and that it has now earned six Daytime Emmy nominations since 2017. The Hollywood Reporter reported the win.
The show is a roundtable series, which means a group of guests sits down together to talk about the entertainment business. It was first known as Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter. Over the past three years it aired on IFC and streamed on AMC+, a streaming service run by AMC Networks.
Executive producer Elisabeth D. Rabishaw accepted the award for the publication. The nominated season was executive produced by Maer Roshan, Jason Rovou, Shirley Halperin and Rabishaw. Deadline also credits Rajan Patel as an executive producer on the series. The academy's nominee listing for the show also names Catherine Sudue, Michael Trahan and Christopher Wiard.
The awards are a reminder that the Daytime Emmys cover a wide range of programmes, and this year's winners were announced in the academy's published list on 31 October. For the crew and guests behind Off Script, the trophy is the first for a show that has spent several seasons on the nominations list.
