Gracie Abrams performed "Hit the Wall" and "Here You Come, There You Go" as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on Saturday, 31 October. Rolling Stone reported the performances, and SNL posted both as video clips on YouTube the same day.

"Hit the Wall" is the first track on her album Daughter from Hell. "Here You Come, There You Go" is one of five new songs on a deluxe edition of that album, which is due on 20 November. The deluxe edition, sometimes called an expanded version, adds tracks to a record that is already out. Abrams announced it with "Here You Come, There You Go" as her new single on 29 October, according to Nylon.

Daughter from Hell debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, the American chart that ranks albums by sales and streams combined. Billboard's chart tables count the first week of release, so a debut at the top means the album sold and was streamed more than any other album that week.

This is a familiar stop for Abrams. She made her first appearance on the show on 14 December 2024, with host Chris Rock, to promote her 2024 album The Secret of Us, which came out in June that year. Her return on Halloween week keeps her on the show's schedule for a second time.

Her next step is the road. The Look at My Life Tour starts on 2 December in Denver and runs for 27 cities before it ends in Barcelona in late May. Rachel Chinouriri, Del Water Gap, Jensen McRae and The Japanese House will open the shows, according to the Rolling Stone report.

For fans in the audience, the performances gave a first live look at the new material before the deluxe edition arrives. For the crews who build and dismantle a tour, a 27-city run means weeks of trucking, staging and set-up between dates. Those jobs begin months before the first ticket is scanned.

The episode was hosted by Inde Navarrette, who was announced for the show's 31 October broadcast alongside Abrams, per NBC.
