Savannah Guthrie has renewed her public appeal for information about her mother, Nancy Guthrie, nine months after she disappeared. The TODAY co-anchor said her family "cannot move forward" until they know what happened, according to Deadline.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, went missing from her home in the Catalina Foothills, Arizona. The Pima County Sheriff's Department announced the case on 1 February. The FBI says her family reported her missing that day and that her whereabouts are still unknown.

Savannah Guthrie shared the new plea with a photo of a drawing by her daughter. It shows an umbrella and falling raindrops, with the words "I know it might not seem like it but I really need my mommy."

The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for information about Nancy Guthrie's whereabouts. The family has added a $1 million reward of its own. Savannah Guthrie said the FBI reward "is still available."

Investigators have also tried other ways to find new leads. In June, the Pima County Sheriff's Department released two ransom notes it had received earlier, hoping someone would recognise a detail. The FBI has a dedicated page at fbi.gov/findguthrie that asks the public for videos and information. Its video repository also holds a clip titled "Seeking Information: Nancy Guthrie Video Footage," which contains home footage.

Savannah Guthrie is one of the best-known faces on morning television, and her appeal has played out in front of millions of viewers. The message now is the same as it was in the early days. Anyone with a tip, a video or a memory that might help is asked to contact the FBI.
