British singer-songwriter Suki Waterhouse will perform at the Sydney Opera House on Tuesday, Dec. 8, as part of the 2026 On The Steps concert series. Billboard reported that the date launches the Australian leg of her Loveland tour.

On The Steps runs for 12 nights, from Nov. 28 to Dec. 12, on the Forecourt of the Sydney Opera House. The Forecourt is the open, paved area in front of the building, where the audience sits on the building's famous steps. This is the fifth year the series has been run by Live Nation, the US-based concert company.

The opening night on Nov. 28 belongs to Australian Crawl, the Australian rock band, with Boom Crash Opera in support. Waterhouse's show has no announced support act yet, according to the series details.

Each show can hold up to 7,000 people. Organisers expect more than 50,000 people to attend across the 12 nights, based on the series' capacity.

The series also has a charity angle. All proceeds from official On The Steps merchandise will go to Support Act, the charity for the Australian music industry. Support Act gives short-term financial help and mental health support to music workers who are in crisis. That can mean a sound engineer who has lost work, a roadie facing a bill they cannot pay, or a musician who needs someone to talk to.

Fans can also help directly. Anyone buying tickets to any Live Nation show in Australia through November can add a donation at checkout.

For fans who want to see Waterhouse, the key details are the date and the place. The show is on Tuesday, Dec. 8, on the Forecourt in Sydney. Tickets and any further announcements will come through the official On The Steps channels.

The series is a reminder of how much work goes into a single night outdoors. Stagehands, security, catering staff and transport crews all need to be booked well ahead of the first note. Twelve nights in a row means twelve sets of schedules, sound checks and crowd plans, and the same crew often works every one of them.
