Sand In My Boots Festival Returns to Gulf Shores in May 2027

Morgan Wallen's Sand In My Boots Festival will return to Gulf Shores, Alabama, from May 21 to 23, 2027. The lineup was announced on Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, according to Billboard.
The three-day event is set on the white-sand beaches of Gulf Shores. It is presented by Wallen and AEG Presents, the live entertainment company that promotes concerts and festivals. The festival's own website confirms the dates, which are listed on the official site.
Wallen, Kings of Leon and Ella Langley are the headliners. Wallen personally curated the full bill, Billboard reported.
The lineup covers several styles of music. Country acts include Koe Wetzel, Gavin Adcock, Cole Swindell, Midland, Hudson Westbrook, Kashus Culpepper and Carter Faith. Hip-hop performers include Nelly, Gucci Mane and Flo Rida. The bill also features Third Eye Blind, Kygo, Empire of the Sun and Girl Talk.
Tickets, called passes by the organisers, go on sale on Friday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. Central Time (CT), the time zone used across much of the American South and Midwest.
The festival has a community side too. The Morgan Wallen Foundation donated more than $200,000 in musical instruments to five schools in Alabama in 2025, Billboard reported. Wallen's name sits on the festival, and the foundation's work in Alabama schools is separate from the event itself.
For anyone planning a spring trip to the Gulf Coast, the dates are now set. Festivals of this size also rely on stagehands, security staff, drivers and local businesses, so the weeks around the event bring work to many people beyond the stage.
Passes go on sale in just a few days, so fans who want to attend will need to be ready at 10 a.m. CT on Nov. 6.
