Raffaella Braun has been named president of Triple Tigers Records, the Nashville label, Billboard reported on 2 November 2026. Annie Ortmeier, who had been co-president alongside her, has stepped down.

The move builds on a change made earlier in the year. In July 2026, Braun was named co-president, taking the seat that Kevin Herring left on 6 July. Herring continues with the label as a strategy consultant, advising on how it plans and runs its business. Ortmeier had joined the label as co-president alongside Herring in 2023.

Braun's path to the top job started on the promotion side. Before becoming co-president she was vice president of radio promotion, the team that works to get songs played on radio stations. She joined from a booking agent's job at CAA, the talent agency, and earlier worked as an event producer.

Triple Tigers was launched in 2016 as a joint venture, a business owned together by two companies. The Orchard, which is part of Sony Music, and Triple 8 Management are its owners. The label is based in Nashville and represents artists including Scotty McCreery, Russell Dickerson, Ian Munsick and Shane Profitt. MusicRow reported in July that Braun reports to George Couri, the label's founder and managing partner.

The label marked a milestone in October 2026, when it celebrated ten years in business, according to MusicRow.

For a label, a leadership change like this one usually means a new person sets the priorities for signing artists and planning releases. Radio experience is a useful background for that job, because radio is still one of the main ways country songs reach listeners. Any shift in direction at the label has not been announced so far.

Behind every leadership change sit the people who make records happen: the radio promoters, the marketing staff, the artists and the crews who take the music on the road. A new president changes the job description at the top, but most of the work below stays the same.
