MS NOW Takes Its Midterm Election Night Watch Parties to Houston and Atlanta

MS NOW is taking part of its midterm election night out of the studio, with watch parties in Houston, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. The events are Members Lounges, built for subscribers to the network's streaming service.
The Atlanta party will be held at Painted Pin in the Buckhead neighbourhood. The Houston party will be held at Rooftop Cinema Club. Variety reports that Antonia Hylton will report live from Atlanta on Election Night, while Alicia Menendez will be stationed in Houston.
The main broadcast stays on television. Rachel Maddow will lead the network's Election Night coverage from 6 p.m. on the linear channel, meaning the traditional TV network that runs on a set schedule rather than on demand. The coverage is branded "We the People 2026."
The network's coverage guide says the coverage is available on TV and online. Wall-to-wall coverage began on Monday, Nov. 2. The Election Night programme starts at 6 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026. The network says it is available across all major cable providers, including Verizon Fios.
For race results, MS NOW will rely on the Associated Press. A race call is the moment a news organisation declares a winner, and many networks have chosen to use the AP's calls rather than make their own. Reuters has reported on how US news organisations plan to make those calls this year. MS NOW is backed by Versant Media.
For subscribers who live near Houston or Atlanta, the Members Lounges offer a room to watch the results with other people, rather than alone at home. Anyone following the night from elsewhere can watch on TV or online instead.
