Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly moved into a new home in Britain, less than three months after returning from California, Hello magazine reported on 3 November. Until now, the couple had been staying with a friend, described as a wealthy businessman, in the Cotswolds, a region of rolling hills in south-west England.

According to the Daily Mail's Richard Eden, they moved from the “main house” to a “property on the estate.” The move reportedly happened before the couple took Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, their two children, on a holiday during the October half-term, the mid-month school break.

The couple's first joint public sighting since their August return came on Friday, 2 October. They were photographed holding hands as they walked into the Falkland Arms pub in the Cotswolds, People reported.

The couple had announced plans on 19 August to return to the UK for an extended period, arriving in England a week later, according to People. Hello reported that they had been looking for a family home in the countryside with a budget of up to £10 million. Express reported on the same day that they had called off their search for a Cotswolds home.

The couple have not had a permanent UK home since 2023, when they were asked to leave Frogmore Cottage, their home in Windsor. They have kept their Montecito home in California, which they bought in 2020 for $14.65 million, according to Realtor.com. Page Six has put the value of the California house at $14.5 million.
