Grand Theft Auto VI Pre-Load Opens November 10, Free Poster Follows on Release Day

Rockstar Games has set November 10 as the day players can start the pre-load of Grand Theft Auto VI, ahead of its November 19 release. The game is due on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Pre-load means downloading the game's files before launch day. Once the download is finished, the game is ready to play as soon as it becomes available, so players do not have to wait for the full file to arrive on release day.
Rockstar also says it will add an official printable cover art poster and a map of Leonida, the fictional state where the game is set, as a free digital download on November 19. Rockstar Games newswire lists the pre-load date and the poster together, so both come from the same official announcement.
The game is already open for pre-order on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Rockstar's game page. Rockstar's store also sells a Grand Theft Auto VI Collection, which the company listed in an August update.
Leonida has also shown up in earlier merchandise. Rockstar's The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, announced in September, includes a double-sided souvenir poster showing the full Leonida landscape. That product is a separate release and is not part of the game download.
For players, the timeline is simple. Pre-load starts on November 10. The game releases on November 19, and the free poster and map arrive the same day. Anyone who wants the poster can check Rockstar's newswire on release day for the download link.
It does not give a price for the game, so readers should check the official store pages for the current listing.
