HollyShorts London Names Five Honourees, Including Tinie Tempah and Nathalie Emmanuel

Five British names will be honoured at the London edition of HollyShorts, the short-film festival, The Hollywood Reporter reported on 4 November. The honourees are Tinie Tempah, Nathalie Emmanuel, Russell Tovey, Nicholas Pinnock and David Bradley.
Tempah, the rapper and musician, will receive the Music Visionary Award. The other four are being recognised as honourees at the same event.
The festival runs from 12 to 15 November at the Vue West End cinema in Leicester Square, in London. HollyShorts lists the event as the 3rd Annual HollyShorts UK. The 2025 London edition was the second.
This year's programme includes 73 short films. A short film runs for a fraction of the length of a feature, and the selection spans live action, animation and documentary. Live action means films with actors filmed on set or on location, while animation is drawn or built frame by frame, and documentary covers real people and events.
Short films are often the first step for filmmakers who later move on to longer work. Festivals like HollyShorts give those films a public screen, and they give the people who make them a chance to meet audiences and industry guests in one place. Honours like these bring well-known names into that space alongside the new filmmakers.
HollyShorts announced its official selections in July, and it named its jury later that month.
For audiences in London, the week offers a chance to see a wide mix of short films in one cinema. For the honourees, it is a public moment in a festival that has now run three times in the UK.
