Nicki Minaj Makes Surprise Election Day Stop at New Hampshire Polling Site

Rapper Nicki Minaj visited a polling site in Derry, New Hampshire, on Tuesday, Nov. 3, in a stop that was not announced in advance. Billboard reported that the site was Pinkerton Academy, a school building where local residents cast their ballots.
Minaj arrived around 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time, according to Billboard. She did not make any public statements during the visit. She did, however, greet voters briefly, shaking hands and taking photos with people nearby.
She left the site in an unmarked van with a police escort, Billboard reported. NBC Boston described the visit as a surprise appearance and framed it as another celebrity sighting on Election Day. The outlet also noted that Minaj supports President Donald Trump.
Tuesday was the 2026 midterm election in the United States. Midterms choose members of Congress and many state and local officials, and they fall between presidential contests. Polling sites are where registered voters go in person to cast their ballots.
The day before, on Nov. 3, Minaj posted "HAPPY ELECTION DAY!!!" on her official X account, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. The post and the New Hampshire visit were both made on the same day.
Minaj's appearance drew attention on social media and in local news coverage, but it was a short visit with no speeches, no endorsements and no reported disruption to voting. Her next public engagements have not been confirmed.
