Impressionist Matt Friend has signed with Range Media Partners, a management firm, Variety reported.

A management firm looks after a performer's career as a whole, from choosing projects to shaping deals. It works alongside agents, who usually find specific jobs. Range is run by chief executive Peter Micelli.

Friend is known for voices. He performs impressions of 250 distinct voices, including Donald Trump and Rami Malek. He has also amassed more than 5 million followers across social media platforms.

On television, he has voice roles on two long-running animated comedies. He plays a version of actor Jeff Goldblum on both The Simpsons and Family Guy. He will also be heard in CoComelon: The Movie, which is due in 2027.

His Trump impression has taken him to some high-profile stages. He performed it at the 2024 White House Correspondents' Dinner, in front of then-President Joe Biden. He has also hosted a CNN special called America Laughs With Matt Friend.

Friend is not moving away from his existing team. Variety reports that he continues to be represented by CAA, Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis, and Hansen, Jacobson, Teller. Those names cover different parts of the job, so the new deal adds a manager alongside them rather than replacing them.

For a performer, a manager often becomes the person who helps plan the next few years. That role can matter as much as any single booking, especially for someone whose work spans television, film, live shows and online clips. Friend's signing gives him one more professional partner as those projects take shape.
