Muna have announced a deluxe edition of their album Dancing on the Wall, due on Friday, November 13 through the independent label Dead Oceans, according to Pitchfork.

The expanded release is built around remixes. A deluxe edition is a version of an existing album with extra tracks added, often sold alongside or after the original. This one adds new versions of songs from the record, each handled by a different producer or artist.

The title track gets two reworkings. One is the Avalon Emerson Sweet Thing Remix, and the other is the Romy In A Lesbian Trance Remix. A remix is a new version of a song, usually rebuilt by another musician, often with different rhythms and arrangements.

Two more tracks are also on the list. "So What" appears in the Arlo Parks Summer Was Ecstasy Version, and "Buzzkiller" in the Porches Nevada Remix. Each of these is a reinterpretation of a song already on the album.

For listeners who already own Dancing on the Wall, the deluxe edition offers the same songs in new shapes rather than new original material. For anyone new to the record, it is a single package that gathers the original tracks and the remixes together.

The release date is the one fixed detail so far. Pricing and formats will depend on what Muna and Dead Oceans confirm when they open pre-orders or publish their own listings.
