Rockstar Games has released a new batch of screenshots from Grand Theft Auto 6, two weeks before the game's 19 November release date. The images appear in a "launch gallery" on Rockstar's GTA VI site, and GameSpot reported on the batch on 5 November 2026.

The pictures follow the game's two lead characters, Jason and Lucia, through a nightclub, a dive bar called The Rusty Anchor, and a gym. One shows Jason bench-pressing. Another shows people on an airboat hunting alligators at night. A third shows police closing in on a superyacht.

The most action-heavy image shows Jason leaning out of a car window with an automatic rifle while police helicopters chase him. It is the kind of frame that sums up the series' appetite for chases and firefights.

According to the same report, GTA 6 unlocks on 19 November at midnight local time, which means players in each time zone can start at a different moment. Rockstar's launch gallery page invites visitors to "Explore Vice City and beyond through new screenshots," and describes Vice City, USA as "The darkest side of the sunniest place in America."

Rockstar's separate media section now lists 99 screenshots. Visitors can download all of them as a single zip file, and the company also offers videos and other artwork for sharing. Rockstar says its extended look at the game was captured entirely from in-game footage on the PlayStation 5, and it points players to a PlayStation page for details on the benefits of GTA 6 on that console.

The game's content descriptors, the labels that explain why it carries its age rating, are listed on the launch gallery page. They are Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Mature Humor, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, Use of Drugs and Alcohol, and In-Game Purchases. The last label means the game includes purchases made with real money after it is bought.

For anyone following the countdown, the practical details are simple. The game releases on 19 November, unlocks at midnight local time, and the official screenshots are free to download from Rockstar's media pages.
