Hilary Duff took her husband and children on the road this year, and she has told Billboard that she does not plan to do it again. "It was a really fun summer, and I never want to do it again," she said.

Until her Lucky Me Tour this summer, Duff had never brought her husband and children along on the road. The travelling party included her husband, Matthew Koma, and their daughters Banks, Mae and Townes. Her son Luca, who is 14, also came along. He is shared with Duff's former partner, Mike Comrie. Nannies travelled with the family as well.

Duff said she and Koma had a "really serious conversation" about what life on tour would look like with their children. She also said she cried "a bunch" at the thought of being away from her kids for an extended period. Being a full-time mom and a touring artist, she told Billboard, could be overwhelming. "Kids want their mom," she said.

The first leg ran from June to late October. It took the show through North America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. Family life was visible on stage too. At her Madison Square Garden concert in August, her husband and children were in the audience, and PEOPLE reported that she brought her three daughters on stage for a pizza moment during the show.

The family plan was also talked about before the tours began. In April, Duff told PEOPLE that her husband and four children would join her, and she described the arrangement as a long road trip.

The tour is not finished. In September, Billboard reported that Duff had added 32 dates to the Lucky Me Tour for 2027, across Europe, Latin America and the United States. Those shows are still to come, and the dates are set. Duff's latest comments describe what the summer was like for her family, and it was not a plan she wants to repeat.
