Molly Santana Signs with Epic Records, Ahead of Black Punk and a New Single

Molly Santana has signed with Epic Records, the Sony-owned label, through a partnership with her own imprint, Black Punk Music. Billboard reported the deal on Nov. 5, 2026.
An imprint is a smaller label brand that works under the umbrella of a larger company. Artists often run one to keep their own name and identity on releases while a bigger label handles parts of the work, such as distribution and marketing. The partnership is the arrangement that connects Santana's imprint to Epic. Ezekiel Lewis is the chief executive of Epic Records.
Her first project under the new arrangement is titled Black Punk. The new single "A Girl Is a Gun" is due on Nov. 6, the day after the deal was reported.
Santana's latest chart success came with "Ran to Atlanta," a song that features Drake and Future alongside her. It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, the chart that ranks the most popular songs in the United States each week. A debut at No. 2 means the song entered the chart in second place, a position that counts a song's first week of sales and streams. Chart positions are measured in plays and purchases, so each place on the list stands for a count of real listens and real buyers.
Her previous project, Molly & Her Week of Wonders, came out in 2025. That record was her last full release before this move, and the signing marks a new chapter for her career.
For listeners, the next date to mark is Nov. 6, when "A Girl Is a Gun" arrives. Anyone who wants to hear the single can find it on the streaming services and stores that carry Epic's catalogue on that day. Black Punk will follow under the new partnership, and more details on the album are expected from Santana and her team.
