Prince Harry Sends Personal Remembrance Note to Scotty's Little Soldiers

Prince Harry has sent a personal Remembrance note to Scotty's Little Soldiers, a military bereavement charity, ahead of Remembrance weekend in November 2026. Hello! magazine reported the note, which he signed "Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex."
Scotty's Little Soldiers supports children who have lost a parent who served in the armed forces. Harry has backed the charity since 2017 and became its global ambassador, the public figure who speaks for it, in 2023.
In the note, he wrote that "no matter where you are in your journey, grief can often catch you by surprise, even years after a loss has occurred." The charity's annual Remembrance message from him is shared with children and young people. This year, for the first time, it was also shared with adults in the Scotty's community.
That community will be visible in London over the weekend. One hundred people connected with the charity will gather there wearing yellow and black scarves. Harry will not join any public Remembrance events this year. Hello! reported that he will mark Remembrance Sunday privately, so as not to distract from the official engagements attended by the royal family.
Remembrance Sunday falls on 8 November this year. Poppies, the two minutes' silence and the wreath-laying at the Cenotaph in Whitehall are the public rituals that mark it across the country.
Harry's links with the charity go back further than the note. He attended Scotty's summer festival in July 2026, a family event for the charity's community.
