Anuel AA says his album Real Hasta La Muerte 2 will be released on 19 November, and he may put out a second record, a Mexican corridos album, on the same day. He told Billboard this in a video interview published on 6 November. The interview was filmed aboard a yacht in Miami and conducted by Billboard co-chief content officer Leila Cobo.

Corridos are narrative ballads with deep roots in Mexican folk music. Anuel AA said that exploring the style meant learning a different way to sing and working with Mexican musicians. "I fell in love with music all over again," he said. The corridos project, Cartel Real Hasta la Muerte, is still being finished, and he said it could arrive alongside the main album.

He also said some of the new songs will be produced by Fuerza Regida, the group that has become one of the best-known names in regional Mexican music. Jesús Ortiz Paz is helping him with a few tracks, he said. Earlier in October, Fuerza Regida brought Anuel AA on stage at Billboard's En Vivo show during Latin Music Week, alongside Yung Beef and Payo of Grupo Frontera.

The album title also belongs to a planned 2026 world tour, according to the artist's official tour website. The site does not give a full schedule, so fans should check there for dates and cities. Anuel AA will also preview new music from the album during an iHeartRadio TikTok Live Premiere, which iHeartRadio announced on 30 October.

The interview covered more than music. Asked about a film based on his love life, he joked that it would be called Los Amores perros de Anuel, a play on the title of the 2000 Mexican film Amores perros. He also said that about six months ago he decided to stop smoking and drinking.

Fans have been following a running joke with his former partner, the singer Karol G. In October, Anuel AA promoted his single "Vuelve" with a plea for her to unblock him, reported by Billboard on 12 October. On 15 October, Yahoo Entertainment reported that he had written "Karol G, unblock me babe," followed by laughing emojis. In the new interview, he was asked whether he had really asked her to unblock him. "No, I'm just messing with her," he said. "But maybe she'll unblock me."

For now, the firm date is 19 November for Real Hasta La Muerte 2. Whether the corridos album lands the same day is still open, and the iHeartRadio preview may offer the first full listen before then.
