Liechtenstein Princess Marries Georgian Baritone in Vienna After Five-Year Secret

Princess Maria Immaculata of Liechtenstein married the Georgian baritone Zurab Dzidziguri on 31 October 2026 at St. Peter's Church in Vienna. The first photos of the day were obtained by HELLO! Magazine, which published them on 7 November.
The bride is the daughter of Prince Gundakar of Liechtenstein and Princess Marie d'Orleans. She is 41. A baritone is a male singer whose voice sits in the middle range, between tenor and bass.
Princess Maria wore an off-the-shoulder lace gown by a Georgian fashion designer who trained in Paris. Her cascading lace veil was worn with the Peacock tiara, a headpiece created in 1926. A tiara is an ornamental band worn on the head, usually for formal occasions.
The Peacock tiara first belonged to the princely house of Thurn und Taxis, a German-speaking noble family. It is connected to the bride's paternal grandmother's family, which is why it passed to this branch of the Liechtenstein line.
The groom wore Georgian traditional dress for the ceremony. The couple met while skiing in the Caucasus mountains, the range that stretches between Europe and Asia and includes Georgia, five years ago.
According to HELLO!, the couple kept their five-year relationship private until the wedding day. The magazine described the event as a secret romance that became public only when the marriage did. HELLO! also reported an elaborate four-tiered wedding cake and a horse-drawn carriage among the day's details.
What stands out most is the tiara's route. A piece made in 1926 for one aristocratic family ended up on the head of a bride from another, which is a reminder that family jewels often move through several households over the years.
