Prince Mateen Pays Birthday Tribute to Princess Anisha With Family Photos

Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei has paid public tribute to his wife, Princess Anisha, on her 32nd birthday. Hello! magazine reported that his message read "Happy Birthday Mama Nishiboo", using the nickname he has given her.
The tribute included two photos. One shows Princess Anisha holding their daughter, Princess Zahra, in New York City's Central Park. The other is a black-and-white family picture of the three of them, styled to look like an instant Polaroid print.
Princess Zahra was eight months old at the time of the tribute. She is the couple's first child and was born at 8:50 am on 8 February 2026, according to Hello! magazine. Her name is Arabic, and the same magazine reported that it means brilliance, splendour, bright and flower.
The couple married in a ceremony that ran for 10 days, from 7 to 16 January 2024. The family has shared pictures of Zahra before. In June, Prince Mateen posted a family photo to mark her four-month birthday.
Birthday messages of this kind are personal. The Brunei royal household has not issued a separate statement on this tribute.
