Internet comedian Druski is the first online content creator to host Saturday Night Live, the long-running NBC sketch show. He hosted the episode on Saturday, November 7, 2026, according to NBC.

The night opened with a visit from Emma Stone. She walked onto the stage during Druski's first monologue, the opening stand-up set a host usually performs alone. The Hollywood Reporter reported the appearance, which came before the sketches began.

The link between the two is a film. Druski and Stone co-star in The Catch, a romantic comedy from Universal Pictures. Dave McCary directs it. He is also Stone's husband.

Druski built his following on short videos posted online, where he plays a range of characters and runs comedy sketches. Before this week, the show's hosts had come mostly from film, television and music. Variety reported in October that Druski had been picked to host, and it gave his real name as Drew Desbordes. Variety carried the news in October, weeks before the episode aired.

The musical guest was The Strokes, the New York rock band. Their performance was part of the same episode, which is the format SNL has followed since it began in 1975. Each week, a host appears in the sketches and a musical act plays two songs.

For viewers, the night was a chance to see a creator from the phone screen take over one of the best-known stages in American comedy. For the people who work on the show, it was another full week of writing, casting and building sets, delivered live to air.

The Catch is due in cinemas under Universal's release plans. Neither Druski nor the studio has announced a further release date.
