007 First Light's First Major Patch Lands With New Missions, Rewards, and Over 200 Fixes

IO Interactive released patch 1.1.0 for 007 First Light on July 24, 2026, marking the James Bond game's first major post-launch update and its first full patch beyond the initial series of hotfixes (IO Interactive).
The update went live at 09:00 UTC (11:00 CEST) and addresses more than 200 issues reported by the community and internal playtesters, according to Eurogamer. Earlier patches — version 1.0.3 and then 1.0.5, released June 15 — were smaller hotfixes; 1.1.0 is the first to add substantial new content.
Two new TacSim missions headline the additions. TacSim is the game's tactical simulation mode, offering standalone challenges separate from the main campaign. The new missions, titled 'The Workshop' and 'Extraction Avenues', come with their own unlockable rewards. Players can earn the DRS-7 Silenced SMG — a compact weapon with an integrated suppressor — and the 'Diamond in the Rough' outfit, both purchasable with Intel, the in-game currency earned through play.
The patch size varies sharply across platforms. On PlayStation 5, the download weighs in at 23.84 GB. Steam players face a 3.6 GB update, while the Epic Games Store version is 3.99 GB. Xbox Series is the lightest at 1.39 GB, and the Microsoft PC (Windows) build comes in at 2.24 GB. The disparity is not unusual for cross-platform titles — different build architectures and compression pipelines produce different file sizes for what is functionally the same update.
007 First Light is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Steam, Microsoft PC (Windows), and the Epic Games Store. IO Interactive, the Copenhagen-based studio best known for the modern Hitman trilogy, developed the game.
For players, the patch means a noticeably more polished experience and fresh reasons to revisit the TacSim mode. Over 200 fixes is a substantial batch for a first major update, and the addition of two missions with exclusive gear gives the community new goals to chase — whether that silenced SMG is worth the Intel grind will be for players to decide once they get their hands on it.
