JENNIE's "Less Than a Lover" Wins Billboard's Weekly New Music Poll with 62% of the Vote

JENNIE's "Less Than a Lover" topped Billboard's weekly new music poll, taking over 62% of the vote after the poll opened on Friday, July 24 and closed on Sunday, Billboard reported.

The poll asked readers to pick their favourite new release of the week from a field that also included Charli XCX and KATSEYE. KATSEYE's "Animal" finished second with 24% of the vote. No other track came close to the top two.

Billboard had promoted the "favourite new music" poll across its platforms, including its official Instagram account, before results were published on July 27.

"Less Than a Lover" had already been heard live before the poll. JENNIE previewed the track at Governors Ball in New York City in June, giving festival-goers an early listen ahead of its studio release.

For JENNIE fans, the margin is the headline number. A 62% share in a multi-artist poll is a decisive win by any measure, and it places "Less Than a Lover" well ahead of a competitive field that drew attention from listeners across several fandoms.

Billboard's new music polls run weekly, inviting readers to vote on the standout releases of each cycle. They function as a reader-voted barometer of buzz, separate from the magazine's chart data, which tracks sales, streaming and radio performance.
