Prime Video India has signed a multi-year distribution deal with CJ ENM that will add more than 100 Korean titles to its lineup over the next two years, giving Indian subscribers a deep pipeline of K-dramas at no additional cost.

The pact covers 26 new and upcoming titles from CJ ENM alongside a slate of library shows, according to Variety. New titles will carry English subtitles and dubbing in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, lowering the language barrier for viewers who prefer dubbed content.

The first title under the deal is Yumi's Cells Season 3, which previously topped streaming charts in 81 countries. Library titles joining the platform include Dear X, Law in the City, Study Group, My Dearest Nemesis, Search: WWW, and the first two seasons of Yumi's Cells. Scheduled upcoming titles also feature Filing for Love (ranked No. 1 in 105 countries), The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, and My Bias, My Boss. The lineup spans drama, thriller, romance, fantasy, and action, with talent including Kim You-Jung, Lee Jong-suk, Park Ji-hoon, and Cha Woo-min.

Shilangi Mukherji, director and head of SVOD — subscription video on demand — business at Prime Video India, announced the India-focused collaboration. Seo Jangho, executive VP of platform division at CJ ENM, confirmed the partnership. Manish Menghani, director and head of content licensing at Prime Video India, also commented on the deal.

This India-focused pact builds on a global distribution agreement struck between Prime Video and CJ ENM in May 2025 at the WAVES Bazaar market in Mumbai. That earlier deal, which World Screen reported excludes South Korea and China from its licensed territories, set the framework now being expanded for Indian audiences. CJ ENM had also signed a separate licensing deal in September 2025 to bring 18 K-dramas to Amazon's free, ad-supported MX Player service in India.

CJ ENM is the first Korean company to start direct distribution with Amazon Prime Video, according to CJ ENM's corporate history. Amazon's own About Amazon page has separately listed K-dramas available on the platform, including Confidence Queen, Head Over Heels, GOOD BOY, The Divorce Insurance, Newtopia, and See You at Work Tomorrow!

For fans, the deal means a steady stream of Korean programming arriving on Prime Video India through 2028, with subtitles and multi-language dubs from day one. Prime members in India can stream every title at no extra charge.
