A comedy-driven game show built around head-to-head match-ups — think "LA vs. New York" and "Drag Queen vs. Bro" — premieres on Tubi on 31 July. The series, titled This Is A Game Show?, is hosted by Mitsy Sanderson and is the first title to come out of Home Game Studios, an independent content studio co-founded by Adam Wescott and Max Lubin (The Hollywood Reporter).

Wescott created the series, which was developed in-house at Home Game Studios. The studio plans to develop, produce and distribute both scripted and unscripted content with creators and brands, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Daytime Emmy winner Grace Anaclerio serves as co-executive producer and director, with Nicholas La Traverse as producer.

The premiere reunites Wescott with Tubi following Sidelined: The QB and Me, which Tubi calls its most-watched original title to date. That film has grown into a three-film franchise, with the final instalment set to bow later in 2026 (The Hollywood Reporter).

Wescott has spent more than two decades working across creators, digital media and traditional entertainment. He previously founded Mind Chatter Media and co-founded Select Management Group. Home Game Studios' upcoming slate includes projects with creators Loey Lane, Gray Fagan and Morgann Book, plus a dating competition in development featuring Texas fitness influencers Ethan Kwon, Tin Nguyen and Flako (The Hollywood Reporter).

Tubi's general manager for creator programs and EVP of Business Development, Rich Bloom, is named in the Reporter's coverage. His role sits at the intersection of Tubi's creator-focused strategy and its broader business development.

According to Tubi's annual cultural insights report, 67 percent of respondents said digital creator content felt more original than traditional television series and films (The Hollywood Reporter). Tubi's own series page describes the show as "a fast-paced comedy show where diverse guests go head-to-head in challenges that test what they know about the world, pop culture, and each other" (Tubi).

Sanderson's presence on Tubi already includes an appearance in the Almost Friday TV episode "One Beer Then I'm Going Home" (Season 1, Episode 2), where she appeared alongside Billy Langdon, Will Angus, Liam Cullagh, Chester Collins and Jason Protass (Tubi). Tubi also maintains a dedicated page cataloguing her work across acting, directing, producing and writing (Tubi).

For viewers, the 31 July premiere slots a fresh, creator-led game show into Tubi's free, ad-supported library — no subscription required. For Home Game Studios, it is a first test of whether an independent studio built around digital-native talent can deliver a format that holds a streaming audience.
