Tubi Orders Its First UK Creator Original: 'Wheel of Misfortune' from Woody & Kleiny

Tubi has ordered Wheel of Misfortune, its first UK original series made with creators, from football freestylers Woody & Kleiny — the duo of Paul Wood and Paul Klein who have built nearly 16 million YouTube followers and over five million on Instagram through self-published content (Deadline).
The series has Woody & Kleiny spin a wheel and perform forfeits described as "hilarious, brutal or downright ridiculous." It is their first TV commission after years of publishing directly to social platforms. Tubi's official streaming page lists the series as one season, available to watch free, and it is scheduled to arrive in the platform's September 2026 lineup (Tom's Guide).
The commission comes through the Tubi for Creators initiative, which launched in the U.S. in 2025 with more than 500 episodes from creators including FunnyMike, Watcher and Jubilee. Tubi now offers more than 25,000 episodes from over 400 creators across the service. The month before this announcement, Tubi rolled out a Creatorverse Hub across all its markets — a dedicated space for that creator-built catalogue.
The UK numbers give the order its context. Tubi stated that one in six UK viewers watched creator content in July 2026, accounting for more than 10% of total watch time in the UK. A 2025 YouGov poll found that Gen Z and Millennial adults made up 51% of Tubi's UK audience — the demographic that has grown up watching creators like Woody & Kleiny on social platforms rather than traditional television.
Sami Qasem, Tubi's Director of Creator and Content Partnerships UK, oversees the creator relationships behind commissions like this one. Tubi is part of Fox Corp, and its free, ad-supported streaming service is available in 11 countries across North America, Latin America, Europe and Oceania.
For Woody & Kleiny, the move from self-published social video to a commissioned streaming series puts them in front of a different measurement system — one that counts hours viewed and completion rates on a platform rather than views and follower counts on a feed. For Tubi, the order tests whether a UK creator's social following carries over to a free streaming service that competes for attention against subscription platforms with far larger original-content budgets.
