Ministry of Sound will celebrate its 35th birthday with a weekend-long party across October 2–3 at its London venue, headlined by drum-and-bass DJ Andy C, house legends Kerri Chandler and Moodymann, and Loco Dice. Billboard U.K. revealed the lineup exclusively on July 29, 2026, with the club confirming that additional names will follow in the coming months.

The anniversary kicks off on Friday, October 2 with the "Louder" club night, where Andy C returns to Ministry of Sound for the first time in a decade to play an extended three-hour set. Saturday, October 3 splits into two sessions: during the day, the label Hard Times presents Kerri Chandler and Moodymann, and in the evening, the "Urge" club night is headlined by Loco Dice. Tickets are available via Dice.fm.

Club director Matt Long told Billboard U.K. that the lineup was designed to reflect both the venue's heritage and its current sound. That dual focus is visible in the booking — Andy C is a cornerstone of British dance music's harder edge, while Chandler and Moodymann anchor the deeper, soulful house tradition that the club was built on.

Ministry of Sound first opened its doors in London's Elephant & Castle in September 1991. In the 35 years since, the Ministry of Sound Group has grown well beyond the original nightclub, encompassing a record label, a publishing arm, and a private members' club.

The anniversary year has already produced more than a party. The group recently released "Ministry of Sound: Anthology," a book telling the story of the London space, and launched "Boxed In," a live-streamed talent competition aimed at emerging DJs. Ministry of Sound will also return to Ibiza with a one-off event at venue 528, its first on the island in more than a decade. An online store is carrying 35th-anniversary branded merchandise, including a dog tag, a "Pharma T-Shirt Black," and a football jersey.

For a club that started with a single room and a soundsystem, the scope of the anniversary — a book, a DJ competition, an Ibiza return, and a London weekend — reflects how far the brand has stretched. But the October lineup keeps the focus on the dancefloor. Andy C playing three hours is a serious commitment from a DJ whose sets are usually shorter, and the Chandler–Moodymann pairing on the Hard Times bill brings together two artists whose influence on house music runs deep enough that most fans will recognise the weight without needing a chart to explain it.
