Rachel Chinouriri has announced her second studio album, I Think I Spoke Too Soon, set for release on October 16. The announcement arrived alongside a new single, 'One Song Away From Crying,' released on July 29 — the first preview of the forthcoming record (Rolling Stone).

The single, Chinouriri said in a statement, is about the precipice of a night out and the deeper internal conflict with self-value that it reflects. She described the album as an exploration of self-forgiveness, telling fans: 'Forgiving yourself is the first step in becoming a better person' (Rolling Stone).

For listeners who have followed Chinouriri's rise, the album follows her 2025 EP Little House, which featured the single 'Can We Talk About Isaac'. A previous Rolling Stone interview from late 2024 had signalled her growing profile, and the new record marks her first full-length project since that EP.

Ahead of the October release, Chinouriri will host intimate performances across ten cities: Los Angeles, New York, Dublin, London, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, Sydney, and Melbourne (Rolling Stone). The run spans North America, Europe, and Australia, giving audiences in each city a close-room setting to hear the new material before the album drops.

Chinouriri had teased the single two days earlier on her social media, confirming a July 29 release date and directing fans to pre-save links (Facebook). The track is now available on streaming platforms.
