Ferragamo's Fall 2026 Campaign Puts Shoes on a Pedestal — Literally

A sculpture made entirely of colourful pumps doubles as a throne for model Anok Yai in Ferragamo's Fall 2026 campaign, revealed as an exclusive by WWD on 30 July 2026.

The sculpture is a 1994 work by contemporary artist Willie Cole, constructed from shoes assembled into a seat. Maximilian Davis, creative director of the Florentine house, said the campaign and the Cole collaboration reference Surrealism and Dadaism — the early-20th-century art movements that prized the absurd and the recontextituted object.

The campaign was photographed by Johnny Dufort and styled by Lotta Volkova. The cast includes Anok Yai, Vittoria Ceretti, Thibaud Charon, Jingyu Huang, and Ning Chang, according to WWD. WWD

For Huang and Chang, both brand ambassadors for Ferragamo, this marks their first appearance in a house campaign. The Florentine label, founded by Salvatore Ferragamo in 1927, built its reputation on footwear, and Davis has kept shoes at the centre of this season's imagery.

The shoe designs in the campaign reach deep into the company's archive. Stilettos pay tribute to a style the founder created in 1954. The Opanka design features an architectural shell sole that nods to a 1957 innovation. And quilted versions of the Varina flats — a ballet-inspired house staple — round out the lineup.

Beyond footwear, the campaign spotlights two handbags: the new Ferragamo Cara bag in supple calf leather fastened with Gancini hardware (the house's signature interlocking-G motif), and a new east-west version of the Ferragamo Hug bag — a wider, lower-silhouette shape than the original.

Davis described the campaign as a modern take on the house's archival visuals, folding Cole's pump-sculpture into a fashion context that treats the shoe as both product and art object. For a label whose founder patented hundreds of shoe constructions, the gesture lands close to home.
