Artemis Pictures Promotes Four Staffers to Executive Roles

Artemis Pictures, the production and finance company founded by producer Siena Oberman in 2019, has promoted four team members to executive positions. The announcement was reported by Variety on 30 July 2026.
Ashley TY Chao moves up to head of storytelling and innovation. Chao served as an associate producer on In the Land of Saints and Sinners, starring Liam Neeson, and previously held roles at Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures. She is described as an award-winning producer with over a decade of experience.
Maddie Olejnik is now creative executive. Before joining Artemis, Olejnik worked at Davis Entertainment and the talent agency WME. In her previous work she supported development and set up meetings with buyers at Hulu, Peacock, NBC, CBS, and Focus Features.
Jayden Mann takes the title of finance and strategy executive — a role that sits at the intersection of money and planning for a company that finances the films it produces. Mann joined Artemis from Amazon, where he was a senior financial analyst supporting MGM Studios. He also held an externship at UTA and worked as a production assistant.
Nicole Fahel rounds out the group as operations executive. Fahel worked on the Artemis-produced films Fairyland and The Good Mother, and has served on diversity selection committees for the Cannes Film Festival and HollyShorts.
Artemis Pictures' credits include Dead Man's Wire, Fairyland, The Good Mother, Skin, and Company. Oberman, who serves as CEO, produced Dead Man's Wire and Fairyland and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2022. The company's first credit was Gia Coppola's film Mainstream.
Four promotions at an independent production company may not shift a release calendar. But for a financier-producer of Artemis's size, staffing decisions shape which projects get developed, how deals are structured, and which films ultimately reach screens. Each of the four moves into a role that touches a different part of that chain — story, creative development, finance, and operations.
Oberman founded Artemis in 2019. The company is also listed as a production company on the film On Our Way, per a 2021 Screen Daily review.
