Yahya Abdul-Mateen II has posted his farewell to Wonder Man after Marvel and Disney+ reversed the show's Season 2 renewal and cancelled the series.

"Word just dropped that Wonder Man won't be coming back for Season 2," Abdul-Mateen wrote on Instagram. "That's life, right?" The actor, who played Hollywood stuntman-turned-superhero Simon Williams, thanked fans who "WATCHED the show, ENJOYED the show, and SHARED that they enjoyed the show" — and added, "The show worked. The renewal had been a notable moment for Marvel's television slate.
