On the morning of Monday, 3 August, Madonna confirmed that a dual remix of the track — titled 'Love Sensation (Afterhours Mix) — Madonna & Kylie' — would arrive by the end of the week. The remix, produced by Stuart Price, was released on Friday, 7 August via Warner Records, according to Billboard and Broadway World.

The original studio version of 'Love Sensation', co-produced by Madonna and Stuart Price, does not feature Kylie Minogue. The Afterhours Mix is the first recorded collaboration between the two artists on the song, built around the momentum of the WorldPride live appearance.
