The Yours Always music festival in Salt Lake City has been cancelled less than two months before its scheduled October 2–3 debut, with organisers citing "unforeseen circumstances" in an email to ticket holders.

The pop-focused festival was first announced on June 24, with Benson Boone and sombr set to headline. The lineup also included Stephen Sanchez, Labrinth, Joshua Bassett, Daniel Seavey, Bella Kay, BØRNS, the Hellp, Voila, and Thomas Day. The event was scheduled to take place at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City Far Out Magazine.

Several ticket holders received refunds over the weekend without any accompanying explanation, according to Billboard. The cancellations arrived before the formal notice went out. The festival's online presence has since disappeared entirely — its website has been deactivated, its social media accounts have been deleted, and a support email address bounces back as invalid.

The email that eventually reached ticket holders attributed the cancellation to "unforeseen circumstances" but offered no further detail. Billboard reported the story on August 3, 2026.

Billboard has reached out to representatives for Benson Boone and sombr for comment, including whether the headliners' own teams were informed before ticket holders learned the event was called off. No response has been reported yet.

The festival was to be a debut outing for the Yours Always brand. From announcement to cancellation, it lasted roughly six weeks — a short arc even by the standards of first-year events, where logistics, permits and ticket-sale velocity often determine whether a launch survives its first season. For ticket holders, the refunds appear to have processed automatically, but the vanished website and dead email address leave no obvious channel for questions about travel bookings, accommodation deposits or other sunk costs tied to the event.
