Disney+ will premiere the second and final season of Made in Korea on September 9, with a teaser trailer now live and a six-episode run spread across three Wednesdays in September, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Two episodes drop on the premiere date, followed by two more each Wednesday, building to the finale on September 23. The series streams on Disney+ and Hulu.

Season two picks up nine years after the first season's events. Hyun Bin's Baek Kitae has climbed to deputy director of the KCIA — South Korea's intelligence agency — and expanded his drug operations. Jung Woo-sung's Jang Geonyoung returns with a revenge plot aimed squarely at Kitae. Woo Dohwan is back as Baek Kihyun, Kitae's brother. South Korean broadcaster SBS reported that the three lead actors tease an intense clash in the new episodes.

The first season of Made in Korea premiered in December 2025 and ranked as the most-viewed Korean original premiere of that year on Disney+ across the Asia-Pacific region. Disney renewed the series for a second season before the first even aired — a straight-to-series commitment that skipped any pilot stage, reflecting confidence the platform placed in the title early on.

Park Eun-kyo scripted every episode of the final season, with Woo Min-ho returning to direct. Hive Media Corp produces. Park is also the writer of The Koreans, a forthcoming reimagining of FX's spy drama The Americans set for Hulu and Disney+, which gives the finale an added weight for anyone tracking where her career goes next.

For viewers who found the first season's power struggle gripping, the time jump and the revenge arc promise a closing chapter built on a wider canvas. Six episodes is a tight frame for that ambition. The release schedule — three Wednesdays, two episodes each — means the whole story wraps in under three weeks.
