Banijay Reveals German Leadership Team After All3Media Merger Closing

Banijay has unveiled the management structure for its German operations, the first concrete look at how the European production giant is stitching together its newly merged business on the ground.

The combined German operation carries the name Banijay Germany. Its leadership team sits under CEO Marcus Wolter and comprises three C-suite roles: Arno Schneppenheim as Chief Creative Officer, Knut Kremling as Chief Operating Officer, and Michael Laegel as Chief Financial Officer (Deadline).

Schneppenheim's appointment carries the most operational weight. He joins the Banijay board as CCO and takes on management of EndemolShine Germany from 1 September. Ute März remains co-managing director of EndemolShine Germany, sharing the role she already held. Schneppenheim is not new to the group: he ran the Comedy & Light Entertainment unit at EndemolShine Germany from 2009 to 2018 and was the founding managing director of Florida TV (Deadline).

The label structure now sitting under Banijay Germany spans both sides of the merger. The roster includes Brainpool, Banijay Productions, EndemolShine, MadeFor, filmpool fiction, filmpool entertainment, and South&Browse (Deadline).

Vittorio Valente takes the reins of the former All3Media German labels — filmpool entertainment, filmpool fiction, and South&Browse — along with the Magic Connection agency. He becomes CEO of those labels under the filmpool united banner. Katrin Stefanović, meanwhile, is now sole managing director of the Banijay Productions label, a role she previously shared with Schneppenheim (Deadline).

One notable absence from the new line-up: Fabian Tobias, formerly co-managing director of EndemolShine Germany alongside März, has left to run rival banner ITV Studios Germany (Deadline).

The German reorganisation follows the closing of Banijay Entertainment's merger with All3Media, which was completed on 9 July 2026 after receiving regulatory approval (Banijay Group). The deal was first announced in March 2026, signed at a value of €7.4 billion, and creates an $8 billion global television company (Deadline; Banijay Strategic Update, March 2026). Banijay Group holds 65% of the combined entity (Banijay Strategic Update, March 2026).

At the top of the global group, Marco Bassetti serves as CEO and Jeff Zucker as Chairman of the Board. Jane Turton, the former CEO of All3Media, has taken a leadership role within the combined entity (Banijay Group, March 2026; Banijay Group press release, March 2026). Management expects roughly €50 million in annual cost synergies from the merger, with the full run-rate achieved within 12 months (Fitch Ratings, March 2026).

For the German labels and the crews who work across them, the new charters answer a question that has been open since March: who reports to whom, and which production banners survive the combination intact. With EndemolShine, filmpool, Brainpool, and the rest now under one roof in Germany, the focus shifts to what each label commissions next.
