Cardi B is weighing a Kash Doll feature on the remix of her new single 'Ah Ha,' telling fans during an Instagram Live on Monday, August 3, that the track is "too fire" and she is debating adding the Detroit rapper to it.

The Instagram Live session covered more than remix talk. Cardi said she expects to shoot the music video for 'Ah Ha' in the coming days, estimating "probably like a week, less," Billboard reported.

'Ah Ha' arrived on Friday, July 31, as Cardi B's first single release of the year. The song already includes a shout-out to Kash Doll, and Kash Doll has been doing her part to build the connection: she posted a clip to social media rapping along to the track, including the moment where Cardi name-checks her.

The RIAA — the body that certifies US sales milestones — handed Cardi another plaque the same week. 'WAP,' her 2020 collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, was certified 10× platinum, also known as diamond status, meaning 10 million equivalent units sold. It is Cardi B's fourth diamond certification and the first female rap collaboration to reach that threshold.

For context on how rare that is: diamond plaques require ten million in combined sales and streaming equivalents — the measure that converts plays into album sales — and female rap collaborations have never previously crossed it as a joint credit.

The remix tease and video timeline come amid a broader rollout. Billboard separately reported in October 2025 that Cardi B plans to release another album in 2026, which would be her first full-length since 2018's Invasion of Privacy.

No release date has been set for the 'Ah Ha' remix, and Cardi has not confirmed whether Kash Doll is officially locked in. For now, the exchange lives where most of these signals do — on social media, between an artist and her audience, with a single and a video to shoot first.
