Cardi B Fronts Old Navy's Fall Denim Campaign in Western-Themed Ad

Cardi B is the face of Old Navy's fall denim campaign, starring in a Western-themed commercial that debuted on Tuesday, August 4. The spot, styled as a mix of an old Western film and a scene out of Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, puts the rapper behind the wheel of a green drop-top convertible before cutting to her in a director's chair, calling the shots on set (Billboard; Remezcla).
She is not alone in the frame. The campaign also features model and influencer Wisdom Kaye, content creator Quenlin Blackwell, models Paloma Elsesser, Brooks Nader and Haley Baylee, all modelling pieces from the brand's denim range, which Old Navy describes as proof that well-made jeans do not require a premium price tag (Gap Inc.). The fall push, branded "It's Old Navy," builds on the same campaign series launched over the summer with Paris Hilton (Billboard).
The jeans Cardi B models in the ad — high-waisted, wide-legged dark denim — are currently on sale in seven colourways on Old Navy's website. The brand's homepage is promoting an online-exclusive "All Jeans On Sale + Extra 30% Off" offer with purchase code EXTRA, running through August 9 (Old Navy).
For Cardi B, the partnership ties back to a personal history with the retailer. She told People that she still shops at Old Navy, calling the denim "very long-lasting," and said that growing up she was insecure about how jeans fit her figure, going so far as to layer two or three pairs of tights underneath to look curvier (Billboard; People). She echoed the sentiment in a post on X promoting the ad: "When you have a BBL it's hard to find jeans… but Old Navy got everything for everybody" (Billboard).
The campaign arrives during a busy stretch for the artist. Cardi B released her first single of 2026, "Ah Ha," on July 31 (Billboard). The Recording Industry Association of America — the body that certifies US sales milestones — has also certified her Megan Thee Stallion collaboration "WAP" as diamond, meaning ten million units sold and streamed. It is Cardi B's fourth diamond-certified song (Billboard).
ABC's Good Morning America reported on the campaign launch in a piece dated August 4 (GMA).
